River Trips

Trips normally happen on a Sunday. To find out what is happening, contact the Club Secretary.
We have agreed the following guidelines for trips:
Fuel etc: - Individuals travelling together are expected to share the costs.
Trailers / Roofracks: -  If someone is transporting a kayak for you,  (including club boats) you should contribute at least £? to the driver.

PLEASE TRY AND PAY YOUR SHARE OF THE COSTS ON THE DAY. We rely on the goodwill of drivers to enable us to continue to run trips.

Summer Trips

Winter Trips

During the Winter the Club Activities are centred  on the rivers.  However as with every other canoeing activity the trips are dictated by the weather - there must be sufficient rain. Anyone  wishing to experience the rapids of the local rivers should have normally completed a season in the swimming pool, and attended the summer evening sessions. You should be of at least two star standard.

The trips tend to concentrate on the Rivers Derwent & Trent.

This time of year is cold so you must wear warm clothing and have plenty to eat and drink.
